Louisiana State University
Description: LSU Paralegal Studies Program has been approved by the ABA since August 1993. The program offers a noncredit certificate for individuals seeking careers as paralegals. A bachelor’s degree is recommended for admittance to the program, but students with 45 hours of college credit are eligible for admission. The program features mostly evening classes. Attorneys, judges, and practicing paralegals teach the courses. Paralegal students enjoy the following student services: student health center, residential housing, group health insurance, student recreational facility, use of the LSU law library and use of the LSU Middleton library. An Advisory committee of dedicated paralegals, lawyers and other interested people guide the program.
