Northeast Indiana Paralegal Association, (NIPA)
Description: NIPA serves paralegals in northeast Indiana. NIPA is a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (“NFPA”), the largest and oldest paralegal association, with more than 15,000 members in the United States and Canada. NIPA was organized to promote paralegal growth through education, networking opportunities and its Job Bank. NIPA also promotes paralegals and the profession to the public and the legal community. NIPA is also a member of the Indiana Alliance of Paralegal Associations that was established to deal with issues affecting paralegals in Indiana.

Ball State University
Description: The Associate of Arts - Legal Assistance at Ball State is a paralegal/legal assistant education program approved by the American Bar Association. It is a high quality academic degree program that provides students a strong curriculum and solid foundation for entry into the very competitive paralegal field. Program graduates are encouraged to continue on for their bachelor’s degree. The program is also attractive to returning graduates with a bachelor’s degree who desire to attain paralegal knowledge and expertise in an ABA-approved program. Paralegals, as members of the legal services team, work under the supervision of a lawyer.
